Pack with a Purpose for Entreamigos in San Pancho, Mexico

At San Pancho Realty we facilitate a donation program, Pack With A Purpose, an initiative that allows travelers, like you to make a lasting impact in our community by directly donating to San Pancho’s premiere non-profit organization, Entreamigos. If you save just a few kilos/pounds of space in your suitcase to bring supplies for area schools and/or medical clinics in need, you’ll make a priceless impact in the lives of our local children and families.

Entreamigos is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide educational opportunities for children and families, promote environmental education through sustainable community practices and create a bridge between local and visiting cultures in San Francisco (San Pancho), Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. Entreamigos hosts an established community center dedicated to increase learning opportunities for disadvantaged children and families through the implementation of educational programs based on integration and collective community action.

In this small pueblo of approximately 2,500 residents, Entreamigos’ dedicated staff of volunteers, educators and environmental activists give workshops and classes to over 400 students per year, provide a school scholarship program for 87 students and has supported the town in recycling over 70 tons of glass and plastic annually.

Donated items contributed will be used to augment the center’s constantly depleting resources. Additionally, the donated items will help support adult productivity workshops.

The Entreamigos building has been recognized as a model facility for environmentally responsible design with its integration of natural elements and innovation in the use of recycled materials. Entreamigos is truly a wonder of sustainable design and a great place to visit for anyone. We feel fortunate and very proud to have supported our community center, Entreamigos over the years.
